Our journey began at Cleckheaton Golf Club with an unforgettable opening night on July 10, 2014, featuring the fabulous John Taylor Band. A few months later, we found a new home at Buttershaw Lane Working Mens Club in Bradford, a familiar haunt of Mick Sagar. Our founders, Darran and Elaine, were driven by a passion to create a local venue where people could enjoy live country music at its finest. In a time when such venues are becoming increasingly rare, we’ve established ourselves as a premier listening venue where the music takes center stage, and the audience’s respect for the performers is palpable – you can hear a pin drop during ballads.

Since our inception, we have made significant investments to ensure an exceptional musical experience. Our top-class P.A. system, expertly managed by our resident sound engineer Ian “Sammy” Sands, guarantees that every note is heard in its true essence. Adding to the experience is our resident compere, Peter Fairhead, an ex-Classic FM DJ, who brings his unique charm and professionalism to our events.

While we used to run club nights on a monthly basis, as of 2024, we have shifted our focus to special events, gigs, and festivals. This evolution allows us to curate unique and memorable experiences that resonate with our audience. Each event is meticulously planned and executed to maintain the warm and welcoming atmosphere we are known for. Our dedicated team, including Vince on lights, ensures that every event is visually and audibly spectacular.
